Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an AudioClients account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use AudioClients.

2. What AudioClients does

AudioClients is a tool that helps audio engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, and producers discover independent artists and send personalized outreach emails. We provide AI-assisted email drafting, artist discovery via Spotify, communication profiling via public social media data, and email sending via your connected Gmail account.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content of every email you send through AudioClients. While we generate drafts, you review, edit, and approve each email before it is sent.
• You must comply with all applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.) when using AudioClients to send outreach. This includes honoring opt-out requests promptly.
• You must not use AudioClients to send bulk unsolicited email, phishing attempts, or any content that is fraudulent, misleading, or harmful.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and connected integrations (Gmail, Spotify).

4. Our responsibilities

• We will keep your data secure using industry-standard practices.
• We will not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We will process account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them.
• We will be transparent about how we use your data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-generated content

Emails and other content generated by AudioClients are created using AI (Anthropic’s Claude). While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate language. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sending. AudioClients is not liable for the consequences of emails you choose to send.

6. Gmail and third-party integrations

AudioClients accesses your Gmail account solely to send emails you have approved. We request only the gmail.sendscope — we cannot and do not read your inbox. Your use of Gmail through AudioClients is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service. Similarly, artist data retrieved via Spotify is subject to Spotify’s Terms of Service.

7. Subscription and billing

AudioClients offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

8. Limitation of liability

AudioClients is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, reputational harm, or consequences of emails sent through the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive sending practices, or use the service in a way that harms other users or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of AudioClients after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
